The Combined Rope Rescue course incorporates the skills outlined in both the ITRA Level 1 Rope Rescue Responder and ITRA Level 2 Rope Rescue Technician Courses.
Learners will cover both course syllabuses and be assessed against the requirements of the ITRA Level 2 Rope Rescue Technician course only on the final day of the course.
The course will equip you with the skills and knowledge to work as part of a team to respond to rope rescue incidents in both the high and low angle environment.
Other skills that will be covered include ascending and descending ropes, team skills such as casualty care, lifting and lowering stretchers in both industrial and natural environments, pick offs, high angle stretcher work, artificial high directionals, knot passing and offsets.
The course content meets and/or exceeds that of the "UKFRS Operator Level" and "NFPA 1006 Technician".
The course fee includes the tuition, assessment fees, lunch and refreshments, as well as an ITRA Level 2 Rope Rescue Technician certificate and patch on successful completion.
